Refusing to be confined to a single medium, Lucy Evans is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is driven by a relentless pursuit of skill and material understanding. Her current work is primarily centralised around working with glass, understanding the capabilities involved in skills facing obsoletion.

After graduating with a first-class honours degree from Manchester School of Art, she became an artist-in-residence at ROOM Wigan, developing ecological solutions to the chemical processes typically used in photographic darkrooms.  Once the residency term came to an end, she embarked on the next chapter of her career with The Turnpike Gallery  and Open Eye Gallery.
